About 8 years ago I started on an idea of illustrating ebooks for anyone to download, and experience. And for me to have steady projects to dive in to. I started with Snowwhite but as alway life and mostly work got in the way of personal projects like this.
As a child, I lived in books, dreamt of the stories when I went to bed and nothing made me happier than staying up all night when everyone was asleep to finish a good book. This might explain why I am a bit of an insomniac now, as an adult, but it was all worth it. And the illustrations, a capture of someone else’s mind and their idea of what the story looked like. These magical people who had the skill to put something they saw in their head on paper. My favorite illustrators are still the same as then … But then I didn’t know or pay attention to their names. And what could be better than being able to get people to read more?
Now it’s time to pick up this project again. Its quite obvious that I do not write well, or even spell correctly. For the past hour, I have been looking at Project Gutenbergs collections to find a story that would fit. If you have any suggestions or even a story to tell, please feel free to contact me.
